Our Aims:

• To offer support to you and your carers either by telephone or by personal contact.
• All calls are treated with confidentiality.
• We may help to provide the answers to the questions you might ask.
• Guide you through other sources of help that have been discovered , if these are appropriate.
• Provide you with access to written information about cancer and its treatment.

Our team is comprised of volunteers many who have received training from accredited Macmillan Nurses, but we are not medically trained.

Many of our team have experienced cancer and so understand the emotional effects of the disease and its treatment.

Within the team there are those who speak French and may be able to help you communicate more effectively with your doctors.
